Dear PS16 Families,
Last week Jersey City became the first city in the state to recognize childhood cancer awareness month by raising a flag above city hall. We are so proud of our very own PS16 student Jackson Germadnig for representing his peers at the flag raising ceremony. Jackson was recognized by the City for his bravery in fighting leukemia, and was awarded a beautiful medal! You are our hero, Jackson!
